Photographer and creative Julia 'JuliArt' Hango has made a mark on Namibia's art scene, from her solo exhibition to her figure drawing sessions and her stunning photography. We catch up with her to see how 2016 faired in the world of an artist.

I have two very yummy finds this year: 'Dominatrix, A Memoir' by John Mendelsohn and 'Doors To My Eyes' by Wilson Ngoni.

Oddigtl's 'Solarium' was definitely one of the best things to happen to the Namibian contemporary music scene. With that said, 'Stranger Things Have Happened' by AliThatDude was also a pleasant surprise.

I wanna say Doom, but also Hage Geingob. So I'll say Snapchat filters.

Getting sloshed with my besties and drawing very large genitalia on the men's bathroom door at Chopsi's, getting banned for a day and then coming back the next day to paint fishies over the large genitals.

Above answer and having exhibited just over eight times this year in many different scenarios, places and expressions.
